Safer Internet Day in Year 3

This year, in Year 3, we thought about our identities. We know that is safe to share our identities with our class mates because we trust them. We created individual profiles and included personal information. Then we looked at some online profiles. We know that people online sometimes share personal information and this can be dangerous. We thought about ways that we can protect our identity online so that we can keep safe.  We created avatars and usernames that we can use when gaming so that we can keep our personal information private!

As Tuesday 9th February, was Safety Internet Day, Y3H considered how they could behave respectfully online. They discussed how they would feel if certain comments were made and how they could report bad behaviour online. They also began to understand that whatever is posted online can remain there for a long time and, if we are not careful, can spread quickly.
