Welcome to St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School
We are a Catholic primary school where all our pupils belong to a caring, sharing community which promotes learning through respect and love for all through our shared Catholic faith. We strive to follow Christ’s example to always do our best.
We are proud to be part of Our Lady and All Saints MAC ; thirteen schools across Birmingham, Solihull and Warwickshire, and together, we strive to provide our children with excellent opportunities in order to enable them to have the best possible start to their education. Together we are 'Strong in Faith'.
The nursery unit is non-denominational and has a separate admissions criteria. We have around 420 pupils on roll including a nursery offering 15 hours universal entitlement for 3 -4 year olds with provision for 26 full day places (Monday - Wednesday)

We are currently consulting on a change to our current Admissions Policy for 2024/25. The change is to reduce the Published Admissions Number from 60 to 30.

Good morning 💙
Today we start showcasing the charities/groups whom our children wish to support during Lent. They will carry out an ACT OF SERVICE, so these people may access their RIGHTS. It’s our RESPONSIBILITY to help #optionsforthevulnerable. Watch this space for our first video message💙

Your sorting skills are developing well!💙
@OurLadyandAllS1 @stwilfridrc. We have enjoyed continuing our work looking at animals in our science topic. Today we learnt that different animals eat different foods and were able to sort our animals according to whether they were herbivores, carnivores or omnivores.
Our investigation today ‘Can we walk the mirror maze’ we identified all the variables we could change, measure and observe. We decided everyone would change their type of line and measure how long it took to follow the line using only a mirror. @MissB_stwilfrid @stwilfridrc https://t.co/HICs1BTpWj
If you have BSL skills, this is your time to shine! https://t.co/yBuzbnaUgN
PLEASE RT We're looking for a female volunteer with BSL skills to befriend a refugee with hearing impairment who is learning BSL Needs to attend https://t.co/BkoZYimw4O #RefugeesWelcome #volunteering @BirmCTogether @BrumSchOfSanc @BarmsBham @WestMidlandsSMP @BVSC @LoveBrumUK
This looks challenging! 💙
We had to draw different lines using chalk and then follow the line using only the reflection in the mirror to guide us. It was harder than we thought, as we had to angle the mirror correctly and try to keep our balance. 🪞 @stwilfridrc @MissB_stwilfrid @OurLadyandAllS1
Outdoor learning! And we ARE the best!💙
During our afternoon playtime year 3 used the chalk and created a very colourful playground. We had outlines of children, flowers, eyes, games of O’s and X’s and of course sentences! “St Wilfrid’s school is the BEST” @stwilfridrc @OurLadyandAllS1
Asad & Antonia … well done - you’re the winmers. Mrs H asked ‘how many disciples are there in the world?’ … according to the 2010 census, approx 2.2 billion! Wow! Thanks to the MANY children who also came up with the answer. Very proud of you for finding out. 💙 #askalexa

We use first party and third party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Services to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” cookies. Other cookies enable us and the third parties we work with to track and target the interests of visitors to our Services, and we refer to these as “advertising” or “analytical” cookies. For example, the embedding of YouTube and Vimeo videos, as added by individual schools, will require “advertising” cookies to be enabled in order to successfully play them. Schools that, for example, opt to track visitor data using Google Analytics will require “analytical” cookies to be enabled in order to do so. We also enable schools to employ cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with their use of our Services in order to allow them to track visitors to and interactions with their school website.
Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one of our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
