School Closure

As you are aware St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary will be closed for the forseeable future in response to the Government directive for all schools in England to close.

Our children have been given work packs and you also have had details of how your child(ren) can and will access learning resources during the closure, this is primarily through eSchools.

The closure aims to ensure social distance measures, introduced by the government in order to reduce rates of infection.

The only exception is for those families who fall into Government designated categories – Key workers and vulnerable children.

Children must not attend St Wilfrid’s unless they have been specifically contacted and informed by the school, this is again in line with Government directives.

Thank you all for your patience and support during this most stressful of times.

In a time of National emergency we are all asked to play our part. We are in a very different time at present but rest assured that we remain committed to supporting our children and families.
